Description


Black Sarawak pepper is grown and processed with extreme care on Borneo Island, in the State of Sarawak, in Malaysia.
The plants grow in the dense tropical rainforest of Borneo, which makes it an exceptional pepper.
Each peppercorn is harvested by hand before it is sun-dried.
Fruity notes gradually give way to warm but not aggressive spiciness, followed by floral notes with a woody and spicy finish.

Applications:
Sarawak black pepper is an ideal accompaniment for all types of meats, fish, foie gras, cheeses, vinaigrettes, fruits, and, of course, chocolate.
Crush lightly in a mortar and pestle or grind to enjoy its complex aromatic power.
